Our Board is comprised of experienced business, health care and community leaders and provides financial and agency oversight to ensure the ACS fulfills its commitment to the community. Board members are elected at our annual meeting and can serve for two consecutive terms.
Chris Bellefeuille - Chair ACS board member and Co-Chair finance committee. Chris is Vice President and of Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital where he is a portfolio manager for private clients and foundations. Chris and his wife Rosemary live in Ancaster with their two children.
Scott Wismer - Vice-Chair Scott spent 15 years with the Ontario Public Service as a Youth Worker. He moved on to work in the business sector for the Tim Horton’s Corporation(TDL). After retiring from TDL, Scott spent the next few years staying close to the community to raise his family. Scott is co-founder of the Wismer Foundation, a not for profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships for high school students, and recognizing coaching excellence within the city of Hamilton in conjunction with our partner, the Board of Education. Scott is an active volunteer at McMaster Children’s Hospital
Scott Llewellyn - Secretary is President of S. Llewellyn & Associates Limited, a Municipal and Land Development Consulting Engineering firm located in Burlington, providing engineering services to both the local development community and local municipalities. Scott and his wife Karen both enjoy volunteering their time to Ancaster Community Services.
Andrew Zucker, Treasurer is a Chartered Accountant. He works at the firm Deloitte in Burlington focusing on Corporate and Personal Income Tax. As well as being a Chartered Accountant he is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. Andrew lives in Ancaster with his wife Stacey and 2 children.
Darren Richarz Darren has strong ties to the Ancaster community and hopes to contribute to the community of Ancaster through his support with Ancaster Community Services. Darren resides in Ancaster with his wife Debbie and their two daughters.Wilma Groen
Neil Turchyn Neil joined the board in 2010 and is currently part of the Fund Development and Governance Committees. He is lawyer with Agro Zaffiro LLP in Hamilton, practicing in civil litigation and real estate. He was born and raised in Ancaster and continues to be involved with many aspects of the community
April Harbottle
Shirley Glauser Shirley and her husband Peter have lived in Ancaster for over 49 years, the majority of this time in Jerseyville. Shirley was the Administrator of the Ancaster Senior Achievement Centre from 1984 till her retirement at the end of 2001. She has been involved in many not for profits Boards for years. Also was a Hamilton-Wentworth School Board trustee for 4 years. Shirley enjoys curling and golfing during her leisure time.
Janice Lukas
Mark McKague Mark has lived in Ancaster all of his life and believes in the community and through his support of Ancaster Community Services, hopes to make the Community a better place. Mark lives in Ancaster with his wife Tania and their 2 children. Mark works in the the travel and tourism industry.
