ANCASTER COMMUNITY SERVICES 
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our Board is comprised of experienced business, health care and community leaders and provides financial and agency oversight to ensure the ACS fulfills its commitment to the community. Board members are elected at our annual meeting and can serve for two consecutive terms.

Scott Llewellyn - Secretary is President of S. Llewellyn & Associates Limited, a Municipal and Land Development Consulting Engineering firm located in Burlington, providing engineering services to both the local development community and local municipalities.  Scott and his wife Karen both enjoy volunteering their time to Ancaster Community Services.

Andrew Zucker, Treasurer is a Senior Manager at the Chartered Accounting firm Horne LLP in Burlington. He is a Chartered Accountant and also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.  This is Andrew’s second year as Treasurer with ACS.

Donald G. Jaffray, M.A.,  Don is the Executive Director of the SPRC.  Don has extensive experience as a social planner and social welfare policy analyst.  His expertise includes management practice in the non-profit sector, strategic planning, community development techniques, program evaluation and qualitative and quantitative social research design and data analysis.  Don is an Assistant Professor (part-time) in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton providing instruction on community studies and health service planning.

Denise O’Connor is Principal Consultant with Moving Perspective, consulting services (policy systems analysis, building collaborative projects and meeting facilitation).  She is currently contracted with Ontario Seniors’ Secretariat as the lead on Ontario’s Age-Friendly Communities Initiative.  PhD McMaster 2005, Comparative Public Policy.  Denise is a huge fan of our beautiful, local conservation spaces.

Darren Richarz is Vice-President of Sales at BPS, Inc. a leading provider of Audit and Risk Management Software to Major Financial Institutions, Government and Fortune 500.  Darren has strong ties to the Ancaster community and hopes to contribute to the community of Ancaster through his support with Ancaster Community Services.  Darren resides in Ancaster with his wife Debbie and their two daughters.
