ANCASTER COMMUNITY SERVICES STAFF

ACS is staffed by four professionals and governed by a volunteer Board. Our dedicated staff members have broad experience in community outreach and their connections to other charitable and social agency organizations make them a valuable resource in our community.

Karen Hadden, BA, SSW

Karen has served in the non-profit sector for more than 20 years and with the ACS for the past seven – first as a community outreach worker and now as Executive Director. Karen is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ACS, is our agency’s public spokesperson and is professionally trained and designated to provide family counseling and support. Karen is management’s representative on our Board. Karen is also a member of the CSAE.

Lisa joined the ACS in 2006. She learned of the ACS while serving as a volunteer in the Ancaster Community Policing Centre, which shares space with our agency. Earlier in her career, Lisa served in an administrative capacity with both the Halton and Hamilton police services.

Carol has been on staff with ACS since March 2007.  She started out with our organization as a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels and Assisted Volunteer Driving programs.

Melanie has many years of volunteering experience within the community of Ancaster. She serves on several executive committees within Ancaster and is an active participant in Theatre Ancaster productions. She joined ACS in the fall of 2005.
